In addition to conquering every other aspect of the entertainment industry, Dwayne Johnson, who is most well known as WWE Superstar “The Rock,” is preparing to unleash his newest television project; a series for HBO entitled Ballers. Earlier today, Johnson revealed a picture from the set.
The picture, in which Johnson is wearing a rather snazzy suit, shows him getting out of a white SUV and heading into a house. The quote released with the picture says,
“I don’t hold people’s hands… I hold their money”
The show will chronicle the lives of athletes – some retired, some still active – living in Miami. Johnson will play a man by the name of Spencer, an all-pro running back. According to DeadlineHot Tub Time Machine and Children’s Hospital Rob Corddry will play Spencer’s boss; a financial advisor who tries really hard to fit in and who is confident but clueless at interpreting social cues.
Ballers will also star Boss actor Troy GarityHomefront’s Omar Benson Miller,Shark Night 3D’s Christine Bently, Anabelle Acosta, and more.
The project is still in the very early stages of production, so there is not a lot of information on storylines or things of that nature.
Lone Survivor director Peter Berg is set to direct the pilot episode, which will be executive produced by Johnson, his Pain & Gain co-star Mark Wahlberg, and Steve LevinsonEvan Reilly will serve as Showrunner.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jason Statham land at LAX - could this be the end of celebrity lovebirds' holidays?

Could Rosie's constant stream of stunning selfies be about to end? And could Katy Perry's mosquito bite have cut her holiday with John short?
Could this be the end of our stream of Instagram updates?
Could this be the end of our stream of Instagram updates?
Splash
We have been inundated with stunning selfies of celebrities sunning themselves throughout Christmas - but could that be about to end?
Arguably the biggest culprit has been stunner-of-a-model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who has seen fit to update her Instagram page every two seconds with a new, hotter, photo of herself.
And we can't decide if it will be a relief to stop feeling so jealous, or if we will miss seeing THAT sexy body.
She was away in Hawaii with actor boyfriend Jason Statham, who has remained remarkably absent from most of her pictures.
We were green with envy.

We must presume it's back to reality for the loved up pair

The pair looked golden brown but more than a little down to be returning from their jollies.
Still, at least they have all those photos to look back on and remind themselves of their fun time - or Rosie's anyway.
Joining them at the airport was Katy Perry's boyfriend John Mayer.
He arrived on his own after jetting off to Hawaii with the Roar singer.
But this does beg the question, could it have anything at all to do with Katy's third eye - in other words, the HUGE mosquito bite she got on her forehead and then felt the urge to share with the world.
We hope not - he couldn't be that shallow.
The singer shared the picture on Instagram and it really does like painful.
Katy Perry
Oh wow, ouch Katy
Instagram

Although it looks like she's been itching it a bit too much, Katy's still staying in good spirits, joking it looks like another eye.
She wrote: "My third eye via mosquito bite. #thanksvacation"
At least this picture is a bit easier to relate to than EVERY other celebrity showing off their bikini bodies.
Katy and John have recently sparked engagement rumours after their trip - so who knows what's happening with their separate travel plans.
They have been dating on-and-off since August, 2012, but have rekindled their love again and proved it in the best way celebrities know how - by flying off to another country.

The star doesn't exactly get our sympathy vote on the bite front though, because she just joined an ever growing number of celebrities updating social media about their holidays.
And therefore making us want to book a holiday immediately.
Let's see, we have had the two couples here, then there was Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton hitting the slopes, Harry Styles and Kendall Jenner ALSO hitting the slopes, and Cheryl Cole opting for some sun.
Need we go on? But could this finally be the end of the sunny snaps?
Somehow we doubt it.

Cody Walker: Still Unclear if Paul Walker Brother Will Appear in ‘Fast & Furious 7′ Read more: http://www.theepochtimes.com/n3/438627-cody-walker-still-unclear-if-paul-walker-brother-will-appear-in-fast-furious-7/#ixzz2pwUCcAYT Follow us: @EpochTimes on Twitter | epochtimes on Facebook

Cody Walker, the brother of Paul Walker, has been rumored to step in for him in “Fast & Furious 7,” but it’s unclear if that will happen as his character Brian O’Conner will be retired in the next film with footage that has already been shot of him.
The film is slated for release in April 2015, Universal Pictures has confirmed several weeks ago.
But a report earlier this week has said the O’Conner character will be “retired” in a respectful manner and wouldn’t be killed, meaning his character will be written out of the popular movie franchise.
Director James Wan and writer Chris Morgan “will tweak the script and add scenes so footage of the late actor’s Brian O’Conner character can still be used — but the franchise can continue,” said the Hollywood Reporter.
Walker died about halfway through production of “Fast and Furious 7” on Nov. 30.
Last month, the Daily Mail reported that Cody Walker, who looks like his brother, could possibly step in to help with the film production, but nothing has materialized since then.
However, Cody hasn’t indicated if he will step in to help finish the movie.

VIN Diesel has shared a moving tribute video to his late friend and Fast and Furious co-star Paul Walker with fans on Facebook.
Titled Vinbook: A glimpse … of Don and Brian … off screen, the 18-minute clip is made up of behind-the-scenes footage collected over the years, including the pair goofing around together, locked in in-depth conversations and appearing alongside each other at film premieres.
In one particularly touching moment, the Fast and Furious cast sing "Happy Birthday" to an embarrassed Walker and wish for "another 15 years" working together.
"You have always been so supportive, especially in these past two months," Diesel wrote to fans of their kind words about his friend.
"So, I wanted to share something personal that I worked on through the New Year, in honor of my brother Pablo ... Paul."

Vin Diesel confirmed for Guardians of the Galaxy

Los Angeles - Vin Diesel has been confirmed to play Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy.
The Fast & Furious actor will be taking on the part of the tree-like alien superhero in the upcoming Marvel space saga, director James Gunn has officially announced on his Facebook page.
He posted a picture of Diesel posing alongside a mask of his leafy character, adding: "Yep, it is completely official. AND he's amazing. I never knew someone could say 'I AM GROOT' so many different ways and with such feeling (and that sounds like I'm kidding but I'm not!)."
This summer Diesel had hinted at the casting by posting a picture of Groot on his own Facebook page, before swiftly taking it down.
The sentient character gains super strength from absorbing wood and has the ability to control trees. However, the role will require little dialogue as Groot's sole line is, "I am Groot."
Guardians of the Galaxy features Chris Pratt as the Star Lord, Peter Quil, a human pilot who gets involved with a group of mismatched mercenaries who decide to form an intergalactic crime-fighting team. Other cast members include Zoe Saldana, Benicio Del Toro, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close, Karen Gillan and Bradley Cooper.
The film is set for release in August 2014.

Fast and Furious 7 release date

The last scene we filmed together…
There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared… in the film we were now completing… the magic captured… and, in just how far we've come…
Fast and Furious 7 will be released…
April 10th 2015!
P.s. He'd want you to know first…
Things have shaped up more recently for the Fast And Furious 7 film, and what fans can expect to see when it is released in 2015. Whether his character would be removed with a totally new script or whether his scenes could be saved somehow, with some additional CGI footage was a heated topic in recent weeks.
While it has not been completley resolved, Universal Pictures did release a follow up statement to Vin Diesel’s Facebook post that said “Continuing the global exploits in the franchise built on speed, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker lead the returning cast of Fast and Furious 7, which will be released by Universal Pictures on April 10, 2015. James Wan directs this chapter of the hugely successful series, and Neal H. Moritz and Vin Diesel return as producers.”
Fans can expect to see Paul Walker in the upcoming Fast And Furuious film, if even for just a brief time. They had filmed the scenes, and he will be included for a portion of the film which is still to be determined.
